Postcards for Charity...

So, I am planning on donating some money to an undecided charity as part of my 101 list. Then, completely unrelated, this morning, while I was thinking about who may be reading these postcards, I came up with an idea... I'll combine the two.

So here is the deal. I will donate $1 (over and above the amount I was planning) for every person who comments to this postcard (before Wednesday March 22nd). Nothing crazy, just a first name and where your from would be great (and anything else is always appreciated) - but please include a charity of choice.

It's sad that I have to bribe people to comment... but at least it's going to a good cause.

Cheers.

Hi Steve,
Normally I don't comment because once I get going, it might never end...but you've motivated me to break the seal. My vote is for the Children's Health Foundation (Charitable Registration Number: 11885 2482 RR0001). They were really great to Gabriel and we donate every year.

I have not commented since this blog took liberties with my daughter's image. However, I would like to cast a vote in favour of the Children's Health Foundation (Charitable Registration Number: 11885 2482 RR0001). It is extremely expensive to provide the high level of care that they offer sick children.

Hey, I'm Hillary also from Sudbury. I don't really know much about charities so I dont have a preferred one. Anything for cancer or heart and stroke research would be at the top of my list.

Thanks!

Hi Steve,
I think you're doing a great thing- just to let you know i've passed your e-mail address along to everyone i know- you should be getting thousands of replies before the night is over!!
My charity would have to be the Canadian Cancer Society.

Always a good idea donating money, because there is always someone in need! Good luck and way to go!!! If I had to suggest a charity, it would either be the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimers Society.
GOOD LUCK!
